A lawsuit was recently filed by a Massachusetts family stemming from a fatal accident that occurred approximately an hour east of the Worcester area. The family of a man struck and killed by a taxi cab filed the lawsuit against the taxi cab driver and the taxi cab company. The 44-year old victim was struck by the taxi cab as the driver made a u-turn in a parking lot. The victim has four children and two grandchildren.

Comedian Tracy Morgan has filed a lawsuit against national retailer Walmart following a truck accident that injured Morgan and several others, as well as killed another comedian. The truck accident that left Morgan with broken ribs, a broken nose and broken leg occurred in a nearby East Coast state. The truck accident occurred when the truck rear-ended Morgan's vehicle. According to a preliminary report of the accident from the National Transportation Safety Board, the driver of the truck was 20 miles over the speed limit at the time of the accident and was nearing the maximum drive-time limit. The truck driver has been charged with vehicular homicide and assault by auto.

Driver charged in death of 20-year old jogger in Massachusetts

Families of a victim killed in a wrongful death accident do not have to face the future following the accident without help. A 20-year old woman recently out for a jog in a neighboring community about an hour east of Worcester was recently killed by a driver driving with a suspended license. The victim was thrown 20 feet when an SUV came around the corner and struck her. The 44-year old driver of the SUV was charged with charged with motor vehicle homicide, or negligent operation; speeding, operating after suspension of a license and a marked lanes violation.
